Lindbergh Bench

Shingle Springs, United States

Plaque reads: Lindbergh Airfield, San Diego, opened in 1928. This bench was part of that event and frequently used by Charles Lindbergh. It was given to Cliff Plummer by his co-workers upon his retirement from Lindbergh field in the late 1970's. Cliff's family donated the bench to the Cameron Airpark district in 1999. Restored in 2001 by Steve Fitt and the young men of Venturer Post 958 as an Eagle Scout Project.
