Old Curzon Theatre

Opened in 1936 was the oldest cinema in the area, Opened in 1936 the Curzon cinema building is a survivor it outlasted many cinemas in the area after the multiplex odeon was built at the Trafford centre 5 mins down the road by car, it finally closed its doors in 2008 as a cinema and was going to be destroyed but found a new purpose as a local performing arts academy and is now thriving once more
