Cranhill Water Tower

This water tower is a very special place. Not for the tower itself, but around the base are no less than six sculptures by popular Scottish artist Andy Scott, who also designed the fence that encloses the works. Each sculpture has a water theme, as befitting the area. One can only wonder at how and why Scottish Water managed to commission these pieces, but we're glad they did. One has to wonder just how many of the locals understand exactly what stands up here on the hill.
