The King William

Locally known as 'The Billy' this 19th century public house has served as a local community gathering point in the town of Shepton Mallet. The local pool league was founded and still based from this pub and it is also home to a variety of local skittles teams. Going further back in history the pub used to be well frequented by the staff of the now defunct workhouse behind it (now called the Norah Fry housing estate)
