Wren Bridge

Ramsey, United States

This bridge built around 1898 was the center of religious and civic activities around 1900. History records many revivals in this area, circuses and for a while it was a favored swimming area serving hundreds of bathers. A nickel would rent a hook to store your clothes and for a dime you could rent a suit as well. The bridge stayed in service until the mid 1950's. The area is still a favored camping and fishing spot, but mostly on the other side of the river.
