New Cape Point Lighthouse

This site, at 87m above sea level, was chosen to avoid the frequent cloud and most that covered the original lighthouse on Cape Point Peak. The light has an intensity of ten million candlepower, a range of 63km and gives three flashes every 3 seconds.
