SPC Hugh Aloysius Marquez Jr. Memorial

Born February 25, 1988 in Martinez, CA. Died of unknown causes near Fort Riley in Manhattan, Kansas - October 03, 2010. Enlisted in the U.S. Army in May 2007 and served in both Afghanistan and Iraq, stationed at Fort Riley, Kansas. His medals include the U.S. Army Good Conduct Medal, U.S. Army Commendation Medal, Iraqi Campaign Medal, Afghan Campaign Medal, The Global War on Terrorism Medal, and the NATO Medal. Marquez grew up in American Canyon and enjoyed the outdoors. He particularly enjoyed taking part in games at the American Canyon Paintball Jungle nearby.
