The Givens Grove

This special place honors the dedication and labors of Douglas L. Givens as the founding managing director of the Philander Chase Corporation. Under his leadership, more than 4000 acres of land in the vicinity of the campus of Kenyon College were preserved in their natural state or dedicated to agricultural purposes in perpetuity for the benefit from future generations.
