St Anne's River Crossing

St Anne's Footbridge built in 1957 replaced the historic St Anne's Ferry.  The crossing has been here since 1396.  Originally to allow passage to St Anne's Chapel and the well from Kingswood forest.  At low tide planks reached out from the banks to the boat to make a bridge.
