Karoo Crest

Hepburn, Australia

Karoo Crest is the aboriginal name for this Crest that overlooks the stream below. Originally Aboriginal land, this Crest was used as a lookout for those lost, and for those returning from hunting for food. This land was later taken over by westerners who mined the area for gold. Signs of this still exist in the form of old horse posts, drinking troughs and an old horse and cart track.
