Historic Long Valley Mill

This historic mill was the main supplier of food and goods for those that live in the present day Spring Lake, NC, area of Cumberland County and Harnett County. Originally built by the Rockefeller family, it served as a supply of food to keep their winter estate secret from the surrounding residents who they feared would disturb their secretive winter homes.
