Preserving Brunswick Town

A limited survey was performed in 1953 by Dr. Lawrence Lee. For a month survey began in 1958. Only the walls of St. Philips church and a few graves were visible at that time. By the end of the summer the site was cleared and ready for full scale excavations of the structures.
