Helicopter Disaster Sculpture

This sculpture was unveiled by Lt. General Moshe Ya'alon, Chief of the Military (I.D.F), in memory of the 73 Israeli Soldiers who died in the "Helicopter Disaster" February 4, 1997. The artist, Zeev Krisher, mined the stones from the mountains of Jerusalem, the "Holy City" to Christians, Muslims and Jews. Given to the citizens of the City of LaVergne with love and respect by the Shreibman Family on July 20, 2003.
