Prayer Tower

Tulsa, United States

Built in 1967 by local architect Frank Wallace, the primary purpose of this building for visitors is likely the 360 degree view of the campus it provides. However, it also serves as the center for spiritual life on the campus, housing the campus chaplains and various types of prayer rooms. To reflect this purpose, it was designed with significant symbolic elements such as the Cross, Star of David, Crown of Thorns, and the fire of baptism in the Holy Spirit.
