The Original Statue "Out to Lunch" which had been a landmark for more than 30 years was replaced by "Far Out". This was due to the fact that people would sit on the book and the Bronze arm would be broken. At a cost of $4000 to repair the Bronze and matching the patina, replacing with a lower lacquered statue made more sense. Part of the Sea Pines revitalization program of 2014.
