This is cream café was built by italian Renato Zangrandi in 1930, and considered to be the first ice cream seller in Surabaya City during Dutch colonization, it was named Renato Zangrandi's Ijspaleis. It is still in the original place where during that time was in front of socialita spot called Simpangsche Societeit.
