Crab Apple Grove Memorial

Alvarado Park Jack Davis Memorial Crab Apple Grove 1983 This memorial grove of flowering crab apple trees is in memory of Jack Davis, associate planner for the city of union city whose work and inspiration resulted in the design and construction of the "Old Alvarado" community. It is the hope of those who knew Jack Davis and worked with him that his effort in preparing plans for the improvements of "Old Alvarado" as exemplified by this park and Smith Street will always be remembered.
