The CSIRO Foundation Building, which houses the headquarters of the Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation (CSIRO), is heritage listed and was amongst the first buildings built in the then brand new capital city of Australia in 1929. Look for the scarab and wheat motifs, representing the insect and crop research initially done in this building.
