The Bunurong 3000 BC Stone
Melbourne, Australia
The aboriginal race existed in Australia much earlier than 3000 BC. However, this particular coastline would have been altered by water from melting polar icecaps at the end of the last Ice Age. Aboriginal artifacts recently found buried along Morning ton Peninsula's coastlines date mostly from 5000 years ago or later, identifying the Bunurong-Bullock clan's settlement of the southern part of this Peninsula in times when ancient Britons started building Stonehenge, about 3000 BC.
