Arboretum Wet Rainforest Zone

Wet Rainforest grows on fertile soils with heavy rainfall. Canopies are high, dense and festooned with epiphytes. The dark under storeys are thick with ferns. Wet rainforests were widespread around this area, but many were logged and cleared for farms.
