This lounge was a former movie theater from 1912 to 1918. It was closed due to the killer flu epidemic. Then bought later on and turned into a tavern. The California Clipper Lounge is a 60 year old staple restaurant and tavern of the Humboldt Park community. It now serves as a great place to have a pint.
