Reed Vessel is conceived as an elevated vessel form supported on a cradle 4.5 metres above a pool of water in the wetlands of Docklands Park. The work appears to emerge from the water, a symbol of the rekindled spirit of Docklands. The sculpture is fabricated from stainless steel and was completed in March 2004.
