Suidhichte an 'Aite Eile

Suidhichte an 'Aite Eile. This sculpture commemorates the 150th anniversary of the Presbyterian Church in Canterbury. It marks the original site of St Andrew's Presbyterian Church and was dedicated by the Rt Rev. Garry Marquand on February 4th 2006. This sculpture was crafted in 2005 by Noel Gregg. The cairn and light pedestal originally stood at the front door of the church. It was shifted to its present position by J Tait Ltd for the church jubilee year in 2006.
