Real name: Casa presei libere (The house of free press) Initially named Casa Scanteii it was built in 5 years (1952-1957). Its main role was to accommodate and become the largest printing establishment in Romania, printing the news of all Romanian papers of the time. After the fall of the communist regime (1989) it changed name to The House of Free Press.
