"Laid by Henry Lavelle" Historic Marker

This patinated bronze plaque commemorates the man who laid granolithic sidewalks throughout Wollaston, MA. It reads, "Laid by Henry Lavelle - Wollaston, Mass." Lavelle was awarded the contract for this sidewalk in 1917. The plaque is located on the northeast corner of the intersection of Elm Avenue and Marlboro Street in Wollaston.
