Fountain of Heritage

This bronze by William H. Turner commemorates the event in Irish history known as Flight of the Wild Geese, or also as Flight of the Earls, that resulted from the Treaty of Limerick in 1691. The defeated Jacobite army was allowed to leave for France under Patrick Sarsfield, under the military articles of the treaty.
