The Granary/Garage

Oil extracted from soybeans was used in the paint for the early 20th century Ford vehicles. The beans were stored next door and transferred to this building via a chute from an upstairs window to be processed here. Generations have prospered because of the foresight of Henry Ford. Our wealth as a community is based in part upon the dedication and hard work of our forebearers advancing the automobile industry.
