MYSTIC
Just Ice Sculpture
Seattle, United States
By Seattle sculptor Joe McDonnell, the “ice cube” sculpture consists of about 65 blocks. Each cube is two feet on each side and weighs about five pounds. The blocks are usually referred to as "the Ice Cubes;" however, the sculpture's formal name is "Just Ice." The name was created by SU student Lauren Maza, as a play on the school's dedication to social justice.
