"To the memory of Edith Waldron. 'She hath done what she could' to the glory of God and the service of man." In 1972, the Waldron Carillon Bell Tower was given to what was then called Alaska Methodist University by Arthur F. Waldron, in honor of his wife, Edith. On the hour, it plays tunes from a variety of musical genres in bell tones.
