Part of Mill Creek. Built in 1864, Waller damn and the Mill Race were constructed to divert water from Mill Creek to grind flour, generate electric power and pump water for local mills and factories. the last remaining millrace turbine at the mission mill museum generates electricity to this day just over a mile long the mill race has become a great for popular watercourse meanders through Willamette University and to downtown parks.
