The road to freedom is a way to commemorate the Allied victory and the liberation of France, Belgium and Luxembourg during World War II. It is marked by a series of milestones along the road network between Sainte-Mère-Église (terminal 0) and Utah Beach (terminal 00) in Normandy and Bastogne in the Belgian province of Luxembourg, marking the route taken by the U.S. 3rd army under General Patton.
