Erie, United States
Erie's original Russian neighborhood, known as "Russian Town," encompassed the area from Front Street to Third St., and Parade St. to French St. The original Church of the Nativity of Christ was the center of this neighborhood. The church was built across the street from this site between 1914 and 1919. The first Russian immigrants arrived in Erie in the early 1870s to work and help develop the Port of Erie.
