Former Lincoln School Site

In the early 20th century, San Leandro needed a larger school. Lincoln School was built in 1910 and had fourteen classrooms. However, other schools were also being built at Washington and McKinley making Lincoln School unnecessary. As a result, it was used as office space for the school district, until it was torn down in 1979.
