The Little Family Cemetery

Associated with the Rock Hawk area for most of the 19th century this eastern Putnam County family's plantation once almost 5000 acres was the location for most of the residents of eastern Putnam County. This site contains two cemeteries. The smallest with more than 20 burials & both are on the Rock Hawk walking trails. A great place to visit you can learn more about early Georgia settlers, Area History, & the Creek Indian tribes that inhabited the area before the 16th century. In this cemetery are several examples of early American burial & memorials.
