Bunker #11 @ Ft. Ord Dunes State Park

Seaside, United States

This bunker was primarily used for the storage of ammunition for the firing ranges, and as a Supply Point.  It is one of twelve bunkers in the 80 acre bunker zone of Ft. Ord before it was closed in 1994. The fort was established in 1917 for World War I as a maneuver area and field artillery target range, and was considered one of the most attractive locations of any U.S. Army post, because of its proximity to the beach and California weather.
