"Carved Wood Indian" was carved by Peter "Wolf" Toth in 1980 out of Douglas Fir. Number 37 of his Trail of the Whispering Giants series. The series features at least one sculpture in all 50 states that are made to resemble Native Americans of the area. It stands 27 feet high.
