F-89 Scorpion

First flown in 1948 and introduced to the armed forces, this aircraft was the first aircraft fitted with guided missiles. This aircraft was also fitted with air-to-air unguided nuclear missiles, the deployment of such would also cause the death of the U.S. airman. These aircraft were retired in 1969.
