Niwot Tunnel Mural

The tunnel mural was completed in 2013, only months before the flooding buried the tunnel in several feet of water. Thanks to a heavy coat of protectant, it was easily cleaned up that winter. Th3 mural also survived damage from vandalism in 2014. Led by Bre Thiele, a number of Niwot residents painted the mural to resemble downtown Niwot as it was at the time of the painting. There are a number of "easter eggs" hidden in the mural, including a dinosaur. The One Ring and a TARDIS.
