RWC15 - Posts In The Parks, Coffee Hall

Milton Keynes, United Kingdom

From Newcastle in the north east to Exeter in the south west, and from Birmingham in the Midlands to London in the south east, rugby posts will be popping up in parks between now and Rugby World Cup 2015 as part of the Rugby Football Union’s 'Posts in the Parks' legacy programme. Aimed at broadening the appeal of rugby and reaching out to new audiences, particularly in the RWC 2015 host cities, up to 100 posts will be installed in parks in the 10 English cities that are raring to host 48 games in two years’ time. The initiative was launched on the day that marks two years until RWC 2015 kicks off at Inwood Park in Hounslow, south west London. Leicester, Milton Keynes, Exeter, Manchester, Leeds, Newcastle, Birmingham, Gloucester and Newham all ran events. Each host city has received up to 10 specially designed posts supplied by the RFU which will be installed by tournament time.
