Parc Pale

This sign board is erected at the Lyndhurst end of the Parc Pale, a man-made earth bank, built in the medieval time, that stretch for about 5 miles through the New Forest. It was originally used to help with rounding up the wild deer when the New Forest was still used as a Royal hunting forest.
