Beginning clockwise from the entrance, the Path of Sacrifice and Valor leads visitors through 18 brass placards that commemorate American sacrifices in battle from the Revolutionary War to the present. Inlaid in the walkway are spaces for 7000 pavers to personalize those who have honorably served or country.
