State of the art indoor cycling facility purpose-built for hosting the track cycling event of the 2014 Commonwealth Games. The velodrome adjoins the multiple-sports Emirates Arena, and is named in honour of the Scottish cyclist who won 7 Olympic medals (6 gold, 1 silver) for Great Britain in the preceding decade.
