Caretaker Houses

To care for the estate, Mr Knapp employed and staff and as many as 60 workers, almost all of whom were local residents. Some of the workers lived in the two caretaker house that once stood here. Each 2 story house had 3 bedrooms and was equipped with electricity and water.
