IRB Striped Mullet Placard

The striped, or black, mullet is found in warm waters almost worldwide. The green or blue-gray coloring on top turns silver on the sides. Algae and other tiny water life make up its diet. Adults migrate offshore in large schools to spawn. These fish often jump out of the water, flopping down with a splash.
