Sorbus Seating Viewpoint Bench

This bench was designed by Nick Smith as part of the Sustrans nation cycle way project with Tim Norris. In 2004 they commisioned Tim to work with art students of Rycotewood College to design a series of resting places which reflect and comliment aspects of the passing landscape and local history. This was inspired by the circulating energy within wind turbines to form an elliptical seating viewpoint on either side of the path. Didcot to Upton, National Route 544.
