Generaal Botha

There is a large GB on either side of an anchor on the mountain side above Gordon's Bay beach. Some think it stands for Gordon's Bay when in actual fact it was built to identify the position of the South African Nautical College General Botha. The GB stands for General Botha. Later the site was used as a SA Air Force Sea Rescue base. This position is now currently occupied by the South African Naval College.
