Verdict - Brentford Magistrates Court
Brentford, United Kingdom
Built in 1850 on the site of the old Market Hall, Brentford's town hall started being used for court hearings around 1852 and was eventually bought by the council for that purpose. The Magistrates Court closed it's doors in 2012 and had been redeveloped into flats and commercial units. Although it was applied for, the building was not accepted onto the Listed Buildings Register - despite the clock having the original clock face from the Market Hall. The Magistrates Court was reopened in September 2015 as a cafe bar called 'Verdict' .
