The Mine Engine House

The top of the Mine shaft can be found to the right of the stone building when stood on the road. It is a small mound of raised earth. Behind the building is a long stretch of banked earth which is the spoils from the mine. The stone building contained the engine which provided mechanical power to pump water from the mine.
