Wilcox (Plymouth) Mill

The river provided the power here near the historic village of Plymouth. For a century, starting in 1820, a grist mill here ground food grains with the power from the Rouge River flowing over its water wheel. The site was purchased in 1920 by Henry Ford from the Wilcox family.
