Gatepost From Manor Farm

Known locally as the gatepost for the old farmhouse, this carved stone actually has a much more venerable history. It's actually a piece of decorative stonework from the medieval Manor house that once stood here. This innocuous stone has survived hundreds of years of change and now stands as a last reminder of what was once the most important building in the area.
